How to record a memory:

• Tap Record and speak naturally — describe what happened, who was there, where you were
• Tap Stop when finished, then listen back if you want
• Tap Process Memory — AI will transcribe and extract key details automatically

Tips for best results:

• Speak clearly and mention names, places and dates
• Recordings can be as short as a few seconds or as long as needed
• You can edit any extracted details after processing

💡 If microphone access is blocked, check your browser permissions and make sure you're on a secure (HTTPS) connection.

If the camera isn't showing a live view:

• Make sure you've granted camera permission to your browser
• On iPhone, go to Settings → Safari → Camera → Allow
• On Android, tap the lock icon in your browser address bar and allow Camera
• The camera requires a secure connection (HTTPS) to work

Can't get it working?

• Take a photo with your phone's camera app as normal
• Then go to any memory, tap ✏️ Edit → 📎 Media to attach the photo

💡 You can always upload photos and videos to a memory later using the Media button in the memory detail view.

Reminders are your structured task list, powered by AI.

• Voice Capture: Simply say "Remind me to [task] on [date/time]" while recording a memory, note, or directly in the Add modal.
• AI Extraction: Our system intelligently extracts the title, due date, and time.
• Recurring Reminders: Say "every day/week/month" to create a repeating schedule. The streak count tracks your progress!
• Voice Alerts: Get spoken reminders with customizable voices in the settings.
• Badges: Look for colour-coded badges: 🔴 Overdue, 🟡 Soon, 🔵 Today/Tomorrow.
• Marking Done: Simply tap a reminder to mark it complete. For recurring items, the next instance will be auto-generated.

• Names -e.g. John finds every memory mentioning John
• Places -e.g. Sydney finds memories at that location
• Events or topics -e.g. birthday or meeting
• Feelings -e.g. happy or anxious
• Time -e.g. last year or childhood

Cross-search by combining terms:

• John Sydney -memories with John in Sydney
• birthday cafe -birthday memories at a cafe
• Mum hospital 2024 -multiple filters at once
